Boxes!

Teresa and I managed to get all the boxes in my apartment tonight (and in just one trip)!!!

We also managed to get a few other odds and ends in tonight. Bookshelves, night stand, and the mirror for my dresser. I had pretty much moved everything but the big furniture! I was very excited, I had gotten more done today then I ever thought possible! I was still a little nervous about tomorrow, but felt great about all that had been accomplished tonight!

I got the keys to my apartment!!!!

Oh yes! I now have the keys to my apartment... I'm not signing the lease until tomorrow but the manager when ahead and gave me the keys. Here are some pics of my empty apartment (some of the came out a little blurry)...

My sister and I moved in all the stuff I got at Wal-mart last night and that was about all we got done before heading to Fondern After Five! Karen and Jessica H. came over too, to see the apartment and so we could all leave together.

Fondren after 5 for a bit of a let down then time... we tried to get there early to get some of the free food and wine, but no one appeared to have any food (even the places I saw advertising for it)!! Grrrr!

So, we decided do just pick a place and get some supper.  We decided on Brent's Drugs.  None of us had been there and we all wanted to try it.

Brent's was great... I got the sliders basket and a vanilla coke!  A real vanilla coke!! It was so delicious!

Only...

until I can move into my apartment....

Tonight I made a trip to Wal-mart to get things I will need to set up house... three hours later I was done and about $175 poorer.  This did include new dishes (on sale)!! And gift cards for the guys that are helping me move. Given every thing I got, I think I did pretty good!

day left until I move into my apartment!!! I didn't get much packing done tonight... maybe tomorrow night will be better!

On a side note: I got to watch the end of the Biggest Loser... and all I have to say about it is Tracey has to go!!!!!
