Labor Day Weekend in Oklahoma City!

This weekend was lots of fun! I got to OK City on Friday and got to spend two full day with my sweetie before I had to leave on Monday. Here a few highlights!

John and his dad had gone Dove hunting on Wednesday and saved me a few so I could try them...

Little Dove wrapped in bacon

It was pretty interesting tasting, a little gamey, with the texture of tough chicken, but the color of chicken livers. I ate a few of them and then I was done. It was a great new experience.

Saturday night we watch some of the State game and then headed downtown for Shakespeare in the Park! It was such a pretty night and the play was great!

On Sunday we went to the shooting range to shoot guns. This was my first time at an outdoor shooting range and it was Terry's first time to every hold a gun, much less shoot one! We had lots of fun. I got to shoot a 22 (which I shot before) and I got to try shooting a 9mm.  The 22 is lots of fun to shoot and I didn't do to bad. The 9mm was a different story, it was much powerful gun, and it scared me a little. A few pics.

After we left the shooting range, we noticed that there were lots of kite surfers out at Lake Hefner, and decided to stop and watch. It was a perfect day, and super windy!

This was our favorite guy.
He did lots of jumps in the air.

The weekend was so wonderful, I just hated it had to end.
