Today I participated in World Book Night! World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books which sees tens
of thousands of passionate volunteers gift books in their communities to
share their love of reading.
As part of the application, there were 30 books to chose from. I got 20 copies of my second pick, Jodi Picoult's My Sister Keeper. I chose to give them away at work and the gym. It was lots of fun to see people's faces when they were given a free book! And it's fun knowing I was part of giving away 1 million books to encourage people to read!
