After watching Promises, Promises, we decided to go to a movie. The King's Speech. This movie is about King George VI of Britain. Through a chain of events, George ascends to the throne. He has one small problem, a sever speech studded, which is a problem when you spend time giving speeches in public. The movie focuses on King George and his speech therapist who helps him.
This movie was fantastic! I was so excited to get to see it. It's not a movie that is being played in Mississippi. It's rumored to be in the running for some awards, and after watching performances from Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, and Geoffrey Rush, I can see why. A great movie that I would recommend to everyone!
