World War Z - Book Review and Movie Trailers

SUMMARY: The Zombie War came unthinkably close to eradicating humanity. Max Brooks, driven by the urgency of preserving the acid-etched first-hand experiences of the survivors from those apocalyptic years, traveled across the United States of America and throughout the world, from decimated cities that once teemed with upwards of thirty million souls to the most remote and inhospitable areas of the planet. He recorded the testimony of men, women, and sometimes children who came face-to-face with the living, or at least the undead, hell of that dreadful time. World War Z is the result. Never before have we had access to a document that so powerfully conveys the depth of fear and horror, and also the ineradicable spirit of resistance, that gripped human society through the plague years.

This was a very interesting book. It was good, but very different from any book I've read before. It was kind of like reading a documentary... I heard it was a fun read, then I heard it was being made into a movie. So I had to read it! Looking forward to seeing this movie, it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Here are a few trailers...

So I grabbed Can's cowbell and we both started Go Stating and Wooing at the camera. These are the pics a co-worker sent me from her t.v...

Star Trek Into Darkness

Teresa and I had both wanted to see this movie, and finally had time to see it today! It was a fun and action packed movie. Maybe not as good as the first, but still fun to watch!

Picture of the Day

Kroger used paper bags today, not sure why this fascinated me so much. I just never see them anymore...
