31 Days of Halloween

I got this book on my Kindle of 99 cents. It was full of 31 Halloween stories. The stories were drabbles... It's a short story with only 100 word story, no more, no less. It was worth the 99 cents but I'm glad I didn't spend anymore then that....

Making Banana Bread!

I had several bananas that I let get to ripe. So, I decided to try baking banana bread... I picked a recipe off Pinterest that required the lease ingredients from the grocery store.

2 Very Ripe Bananas, mashed

Add these to the bananas:
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Oil
1/4 Cup + 1 Tbsp. Buttermilk
1 tsp Vanilla

Dry ingredients:
1 3/4 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 tsp Baking SODA
1/2 tsp Salt

Put in greased loaf pan and cook for 1 hour 20 minutes at 325.

Wa-lah!! Banana Bread

Finished product!

Food Truck for Lunch!!

A taco food truck has started setting up right across the street from work. I keep forgetting about it. Usually I remember it's there on my way home from work. Today me and a co-worker finally went for lunch. You could tell the tortillas were made fresh.  It was super tasty and super cheap!

The Book Thief

SUMMARY: It is 1939. Nazi Germany. The country is holding its breath. Death has never been busier, and will become busier still. Liesel Meminger is a foster girl living outside of Munich, who scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books. With the help of her accordion-playing foster father, she learns to read and shares her stolen books with her neighbors during bombing raids as well as with the Jewish man hidden in her basement.

This was one of the best books I've read in a while. It was beautiful and sad... It's being made into a movie that comes out next month. Here's the trailer:
