So I embarked on my journey to Denver this morning. I ended up waking up around 5:00 a.m. to take a shower and finish packing.
I made it to Baltimore fine and was lucky to get to leave. My flight left the airport at 2:05 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. the airport was shutting down due to a blizzard! My plane was the last one to leave the airport until Sunday! Once I was finally on the plane, they made me check my carry on because they said there wasn't enough room in the overheads. This made me very nervous. Mainly because I hadn't planned on checking it and because I didn't have a tag on it with my name. I had packed very carefully, making sure I carried everything important on the plane with me (ski clothes, glasses, makeup, etc.)...
When I got to Denver I was anxiously awaiting my luggage at the baggage claim. I got my big check bag very quick, and I stood there waiting for the one I had to check on the plane... and I waited, and waited, and waited. Then they let us know they had put everything out and I still didn't have my bag, I began to panic!! I had to go to the Southwest counter where I had to make a claim on my lost baggage. I started crying and it was really really terrible. But they couldn't do anything else for me but make me wait.
I'll let you know how it goes...
OH NO!!! They better take care of you, those PUNKS!
